George E. Alexiou is a Naval Architect and Mechanical Engineer, graduated from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), with over 25 years of experience in the maritime and shipbuilding industry. Since 1999, he has been involved in ship design, shipbuilding, vessel conversions, and engineering consultancy services across all project phases.
His expertise includes structural design, stability analysis, vessel conversions, ship lengthening projects, propulsion system upgrades, and the integration of specialized marine equipment. He also has extensive experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and resistance and propulsion studies.
Throughout his career, he has contributed to a wide range of complex projects involving cable-laying vessels, passenger ships, tugs, barges, tankers, and other specialized vessels. He is recognized for delivering practical, technically sound engineering solutions with a strong emphasis on safety, regulatory compliance, functionality, and operational efficiency.
